“I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith.” - 2 Timothy 4:7
I have a few visions that come to mind of what “keeping the faith” looks like, and Paul’s life is one of the first. For the first part of my life, I made the mistake of assuming that if I am to keep the faith, I need to follow the path and do the same thing. If I carbon copy the lives of those who are faithful, then I will be faithful. But I forgot The Spirit, and following the rules and lives of others harmed my own spirit and soul. Perhaps this is more obvious to you, but I am reminded as I read Paul’s epistles now that his life and ministry is in response to his world. What is faithfulness to our work now? Where are the pain points you see in your community?
How might you reimagine what ministry means to address the pain in your community?
How do you see The Spirit moving you to be faithful?

I am learning to be open to the idea of persuasion, both being persuaded and doing some persuasion.
